RDB Robert Düsterwald
After his studies Robert Düsterwald has collected experience for several years in the finance and insurance area and has worked as a controller. Afterwards he was employed at one of the ‚Big Four’ consulting companies. Later Robert worked for eight years as Senior Audit Manager in a globally operating logistics company.
He has led projects for more than ten years and for his last employer he has set up the new audit area ‘Project Management Audit’.
At the DIIR Robert was from 2006 to 2014 initiator and Chairman of the working group ’Project Management Audit’. This working group has created in 2008 the official DIIR ‘Standard zur Prüfung von Projekten’ (standard for auditing projects) and has published in 2010 the ‘Leitfaden zur Prüfung von Projekten’ (guideline for auditing projects). In 2014, the publication of the 'Leitfaden zur Prüfung des Projektsteuerungssystems' (guideline for auditing project portfolio management) followed.
In 2013 Robert has founded ‘RDB Unternehmensberatung’, with the aim to offer highly qualified, independent audit and consulting services for a fair price.
RDB Robert Düsterwald Unternehmensberatung was founded in March 2013. Consequently the 'we' in the wording is still a kind of 'future music'.
To enhance capacities, I cooperate case-wise with other service providers, mainly consultancies. Required services, which RDB Unternehmensberatung cannot provide on its own, are carried forward within a cooperation or with sub-contractors.
In this context I pay attention to compliance to our business principles. We do not do business with companies with unethical behaviour, quality deficits or intransparent business practices, as a smaller consulting company is not only reliant from the quality of its results, but also very much on its trust and reputation.
I want to be an authentic and appreciated partner for my customers. This means that I put my priority on solid and resilient results instead of an apparently brilliant solution, which after a couple of months appears to be obsolete.
If you are interested in my service portfolio, please contact me. I am happy to answer your questions!
